Maldives Tourist / Visit Visa for Pakistani Nationals

The Maldives issues tourist visas to “All Nationalities on Arrival.” Therefore, A Pakistani National can apply for a “Tourist or Visit Visa for Maldives on Arrival,” which is typically issued for 30 days and has a 30-day expiration date. 

Very Important to Note for Maldives Visit Visa 

The basic entry requirements and instructions for the Maldives are as follows:

  • A passport or a travel document with a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) with at least 1 month’s validity.
    (Passengers with an extended validity in their passports are not allowed to enter.)
  • A comprehensive and complete itinerary/trip plan, including confirmed return tickets and a prepaid confirmed accommodation booking at a registered hotel, and proof of adequate funds to sustain the stay in the Maldives, or a pre-approved visa sponsorship from Maldives Immigration.
  • The duration of stay in the Maldives will be endorsed on the passport by the relevant authorities. Passengers must verify and examine their passports to validate the number of days authorized by the Maldives Immigration Department.

Maldives Visa Procedure on Arrival for Pakistani Nationals 

After arrival in Maldives, Pakistani nationals will approach the immigration counter to apply tourist visa. An application will be submitted with all the necessary details. The filled form and fee (if applicable) will be submitted to the counter with a passport.

After some time, your passport will be given back to you with a visa stamp and a number of days, you are allowed to stay.

Maldives Tourist Visa Requirements (Pakistani National / Citizen)

  • Financial Proof: May require proof of sufficient funds.
  • Visa on Arrival: for up to 30 days, extendable.
  • Health & Safety Requirements: Health requirements like Yellow Fever vaccination may be needed.
  • Original passport with at least 06 months validity (Validity will be countable from the date of travel), with other supporting documents
  • 2 Pages of the passport must be clear for necessary marking by a concerned immigration officer

  • Accommodation details/plan

A comprehensive and complete travel itinerary (confirmed return tickets, prepaid confirmed hotel reservations with registered hotel, and, if not, confirmation of sufficient cash to sustain the stay in the Maldives) does not ensure or guarantee, entrance into the Maldives. Local Immigration Authorities shall determine admissibility at the port of entry, as per Sections 7 and 8 of The Maldives Immigration Act 2007.
