Pakistan’s ranking is still better than its 103rd place in 2025, even though it has dropped from 97th earlier this year. In an effort to strengthen document authentication, improve travel security, and support upcoming international mobility agreements, the government has also increased the distribution of ICAO-compliant biometric e-passports.
